Please welcome new IEC member Reed Dickens, Chairman & CEO of LA Golf Partners, as our next confirmed founding member of the International Executive Council (IEC). We have included his bio below for your review.
Reed Dickens is an American businessman, a serial entrepreneur, and a former White House Spokesman. As a former White House Assistant Press Secretary, Dickens worked steps from the Oval Office and traveled the world with President George W. Bush aboard Air Force One during the eventful days after 9/11, subsequent wars, and a re-election campaign.
Dickens is best known for co-founding Marucci Sports, where as CEO he led the effort to disrupt the baseball industry and displace Louisville Slugger as the number one bat in Major League Baseball. Dickens also co-founded EQtainment, creator of the Q Wunder curricula and kids show, music, and award-winning app, toys and games that teach Social and Emotional Skills (EQ).
Dickens is currently the Chairman and CEO of LA Golf Partners (LAGP), which aims to be the leading holding company for premium golf brands, acquiring companies at the intersection of sports and technology. LAGP most recently launched LA Golf Shafts as the only American Made shafts on the PGA Tour and became the first company to build irons, woods, and putter shafts for Tour players.
Dickens lives with his wife Sofia and 4 children in Newport Beach, California.
