June 22, 2020
Dear IEC Members & Friends,
Please welcome new IEC member Sean Burke, President at ChannelStars, as our next confirmed founding member of the International Executive Council (IEC). We have included his bio and Linkedin Profile below for your review.
From an information technology background, Sean started his first company in San Diego at the age of 15, and sold it to help pay for college at UCSB. After studying business economics and accounting, and interning at Coopers and Lybrand (Now PWC) here in Newport Beach, he started his first tech company supporting IT Security and Networking, which grew into a 120M national company focused on the public sector (Cyber Security and Outsourced MIS). In 2010, Sean sold his equity and started ChannelStars, which focused on business consulting and leadership, and Kalotech (Traditional IT). During that time he was the cloud guru for Comptia, and on several boards of advisor groups including Ingram Micro, Symantec, Tech Data, The Channel Company and others.
In 2018, those efforts expanded upon moving back to Orange County, where ChannelStars became a physical solution center and collaboration space, offering tech and marketing support for startups to Fortune 100. Also in 2019, his family became stars on the reality TV series, The Real Housewives of Orange County. Since then, they have used their platform to assist businesses including ChannelStars, their daughter’s brand Dark Rabbit and startups such as FameOS, TheRankup, and Social Ranking. Additionally, Sean and his family are dedicated to bringing awareness to social injustices and supporting multiple charities through the connections they have made at ChannelStars and RHOC.
